Leadership
Because leadership is so critical for achieving country ownership of national HIS, governments should consider forming a national HIS steering committee , if it does not exist already, led by a ‘HIS champion’. All country delegates are encouraged to become active members of this steering committee and join in the virtual leadership development training that will be offered in conjunction with this forum. A separate communication about this leadership training will follow. The leadership training will start before the forum and continue afterwards.
